Hyundai Motor PH to put up Tacloban dealership

Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) will soon put up a dealership in Tacloban.

The Korean automaker’s local arm, together with its dealer-partner Topcars Autoworld Corporation, shall establish Hyundai Tacloban along the National Highway in Palo, Leyte following the groundbreaking ceremony conducted in the area.

The soon-to-rise outlet, HMPH told Carmudi Philippines, will most likely be opened within the first quarter of 2025.

Spearheading the ceremony last May 3 were HMPH executives Dongwook Lee (president), Cecil Capacete (managing director), as well as Topcars Autoworld leaders Willard Chan (president), Ryan Lindbergh Chan (managing director), and Charlene Lesley Chan (chief finance officer).

Aside from the groundbreaking rite, HMPH also formally opened the marque’s pop-up store at the Level 1 of Robinson’s North Tacloban.

HMPH considers Tacloban as a prime location for the brand to further its reach as well as showcase its products and services.

“The city also offers a promising market for locals to discover Hyundai and its diverse range of vehicles. This is especially as Tacloban is one of the major transportation and distribution centers in Eastern Visayas,” the company noted.

Capacete, for his part, is thankful for the partnership forged with Topcars Autoworld Corporation.
